Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe is one of those places that gets under your skin, and settles in your heart. The wildlife, the people, the landscapes and the isolation are all unlike anywhere else I’ve been. Here, we came upon a pride of lions with several young cubs, and watched them for a few hours as they played, nursed, and explored the area, never wandering too far from the watchful eyes of mom and her sisters.
