Braden’s passion for storytelling grew out of his love of the natural world.
Braden shares his passion for adventure, community, travel, and the natural world through visual storytelling, and connecting his audiences with stories that spark their own passion for the world around them.
Starting with photography casually in his teens, Braden began taking photos on a gifted point-and-shoot camera while out hiking around the Pacific Northwest, as a way to document the experience. That passion for observing the world has grown into a lifelong dedication to documenting and telling the stories of those special places, and the people making a positive difference for their communities, their environments, and the wildlife they share their corner of the world with.
Braden shoots on a variety of Sony gear, including the Alpha 1 MkII, Alpha 9 MkIII, FX6, as well as the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine. He is an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, Wilderness First Responder and PADI Open Water Diver certified.

Braden Peterson Studios was founded to make the world a better place. We’ll do this by connecting with impact-makers wherever they are, telling their stories through engaging photography and filmmaking, and sharing those stories with new and diverse audiences to build connection, community, and caring for the natural world.
As part of our commitment to living by these core values, Braden Peterson Studios donates 5% of topline sales to organizations with missions to improve the world through combating climate change, cultural and land stewardship practices, and protecting land and wildlife.
For 2026, those donations will be split equally between the following organizations:
Na’Ah Illahee - The Na’ah Illahee Fund is an Indigenous-led intermediary that advances climate justice, food sovereignty, and self-determination for Indigenous communities of the Pacific Northwest.
Osa Conversation - Osa Conservation works to build resilience throughout southern Costa Rica’s extraordinary landscape, working hand-in-hand with local communities, government officials, and global leaders to build a climate adaptive mega-corridor so nature and people can thrive into perpetuity.
Western Watersheds - The mission of Western Watersheds Project (WWP) is to protect and restore western watersheds and wildlife through education, public policy initiatives, and legal advocacy.
Front And Centered - Front and Centered is a coalition of communities of POC-led groups across Washington State who come together to advance equity, climate justice, and environmental justice, ensuring a just transition to a better future for all.
